The Times They Are A-changing

Get used to it.  Times change.  The older you get, the harder it is to accept.  But the pace of change is accelerating and there is no reason to believe that is going to change.  I was reminded of this when I saw this image over at WGRD:

Will we still have paper books in 2022?  Will we still hold telephones in our hands?  Will movies still be projected onto screens?  Will these all be just anachronisms? Who knows.

Get ready for a wild, scary and exciting ride.

  1. That is hilarious! Not sure books will be around much longer 🙁

  2. I remember black and white TV with three channels and we had to get UP to change them. It’s hard to imagine the future but it will definitely be a wild ride!

  3. Scary and exciting it is. Great concept!

  4. I love this-what a great visual-made me smile. 🙂 So, thank you for that.

  5. I’m with Loran – I remember all that and gasoline around .35 – whew!

  6. true depiction, it happened just like that 😀

  7. Very funny! Wonder what’s next. Although the more things change, the more they stay the same. 🙂 My nephew called me from a phone “with holes instead of buttons.” It took he and his friends a few minutes to figure out how to dial the phone. I had a good laugh!

  8. I’m not worried about books. I get put out with my kindle type books because I can’t just flip back to find a clue and then go back to where I was. And a dictionary on an Ipad thingy will never be as much fun or as quick as a real one. I remember tv the way Loren does. And I even remember a price war on gasoline where it went to 10 cents a gallon. Thanks, David.
